It is important to remember that all emotional responses are normal. You may feel upset, calm, or anything in between. Each survivor copes with the trauma of assault differently. Resist the urge to blame yourself or think you should have done something differently. The important thing is that you survived. 第一步
If you have experienced sexual harassment or assault, take these steps to get help:
步骤1: Find a safe environment and ask a trusted individual to stay with you for support. Know that the incident was not your fault.

提交报告
Sexual assault is a crime as well as a violation of WWU policy. You can hold a perpetrator accountable through the police and/or the university. If the alleged perpetrator is a WWU student or employee, you are encouraged to 提交报告 through the university disciplinary system.

If you prefer to speak with someone in person, rather than completing the form, you can call the 第九条协调员 at (509) 527-2259, or (509) 527-2222 after-hours.
校外
校外辅导员, 提倡, and health care providers will also generally maintain confidentiality and not share information with the University unless the victim requests the disclosure and signs a consent or waiver form.
